So, you’re posting regularly. You’re putting effort into your visuals, showing up on LinkedIn, maybe even writing a newsletter. But the results? Meh.
Your content looks nice. Maybe it even gets some likes. But the leads, conversations, and client inquiries aren’t coming in. Why?
Because you’re probably not speaking to a specific person, with a specific problem, in a specific moment.
Generic content is the enemy of conversions.
Most of the founders I work with start here. Their content is informative, but vague. Educational, but impersonal. And in 2025, attention is precious. You’ve got 3 seconds to prove to your reader, “This is for you.”
I had a client who offers strategic finance support to startup founders. She was posting regular tips—smart ones—but they weren’t landing. So we rewrote her positioning. Instead of “Finance tips for startups,” she became “Your behind-the-scenes CFO if you’ve raised $1–5M and still feel like you’re flying blind.”
Now her posts lead with specific scenarios: “You just closed your seed round. Your burn rate is rising. Your board wants answers.” Boom—people lean in.
We layered in proof—screenshots from client dashboards, investor updates, funding milestones. Then we added voice—behind-the-scenes reflections, honest takes, lessons learned.
Conversion content is about connection. When your reader says, “I feel like this was written for me,” you win.
Implementation Tip: Review your last 5 posts. Choose one and rewrite it as if you were talking to a real person you want to work with. Use their exact pain points, language, and goals. Make the content feel like a one-on-one conversation, not a broadcast.
